B is 8, that means she is an independent swimmer!
That being the case, when I suggested a pool party she was Delighted!
She chose three friends.
One of the chosen friends was her brother! It didn’t have to be, I told her, if she wanted another friend from school. But she was happy that he was her friend and she would have fun with him and her other choices.
Daddy hoped to be home in time to help but got held up at work. So it was just me.
Then a friend stepped in, without her it wouldn’t have been nearly so stress free.
Look what my friend did as we all swam!
Doesn’t it look fantastic!?
Each child said,’oh Wow!’ as they arrived!
Then settled down to fill their bellies.
We ended up doing lots of errands today after B’s first swimming lesson of the week.
It included getting new scud about shoes and a buying a new book for B.
We were in town so long we decided to just grab some lunch. It took a wee while to cook their toastie so they decided to share B’s new book.
I was invited round to a good friends tonight with the line ‘there’s sine money to be made here’
Her mother in law loves my toadstools and bought 2, whoop whoop!
We were made to feel so welcome that we all stayed for pudding.
The children, clearly, thoroughly enjoying each others company.
B decided to do some yoga this morning.
That’s what she said she was doing with this picture
‘I am a dragonfly! with wings wide open!’
I thought that was a brilliant statement!
Now that the children have discovered the walk up the cliff steps, it’s all they want to do the moment they get to the beach!
Well, that and Dance, of course! Lol
